In Düsseldorf, Germany an event is held every four years sure to lure in print providers—drupa. The trade show invites attendees from all over to experience the newest products and services. With 2012 a drupa year, many vendors have waited to release new products until May 3 to 16, 2012—making the Spring a busy season for buyers and reporters alike.
The show’s motto is “one world—one drupa.” This feeling is echoed throughout 19 halls, which are broken into various segments such as digital printing, post press, printing, and paper converting. The drupa contingent hopes to grow from 2008 numbers, 1,971 exhibitors from 52 countries and 390,000 visitors from 140 countries.
