3M Commercial Solutions announces additional approved printer platforms eligible for 3M MCS Warranty coverage for finished graphics. Effective April 9, HP Latex 871 Inks (3-Liter) used with the HP Latex 370 Printer or an upgraded HP Latex 360 Printer will qualify for coverage under the warranty when created by a 3M-certified graphics provider using qualified 3M products. The ink will be labeled as a 3M MCS Warranty Component.
The new printer and ink combination will allow users to be more productive and cost-effective by utilizing bulk latex ink in the Latex 370 machine.

The 3M MCS Warranty is the industry’s gold standard in finished graphics warranties, covering fading, cracking, peeling and other aspects of graphic performance. 3M is able to offer this level of assurance thanks to its expertise in weathering technology and its rigorous testing of ink and printer combinations. The 3M MCS Warranty assures end users that their images will perform as expected for the life of the graphic.
Only graphics manufacturers having a current Certificate of 3M MCS Warranty are eligible to extend this warranty to their customers. Interested manufacturers can visit www.3MGraphics.com/WarrantyRegistration to register their printer and ink combination, complete the necessary eLearning modules and schedule a site visit from a 3M representative. Graphics manufacturers that have completed the process will receive a personalized Certificate of 3M MCS Warranty.
3M Commercial Solutions also announces 3M MCS Warranty eligibility for the EFI VUTEk GS5250LXr Pro Printer with EFI VUTEk GSLXr 3MTM SuperFlex UV Ink. 3M-certified graphics manufacturers can provide up to a 7-year warranty period when protected with qualifying film overlaminates, and up to a 5-year warranty period when protected with 3M UV Gloss 9740i liquid clear coat.
The 3M Warranty coverage is a new offering for the recently launched EFI VUTEk GS5250LXr Pro Printer. Now for the GS3250LXr, GS5250LXr, & GS5500LXr Pro Printers, using the co-developed EFI VUTEk GSLXr 3M SuperFlex UV Ink gives graphic manufacturers an outstanding alternative to solvent-based inks that provides the durability, heat resistance and stretchability needed for fleet and vehicle wrap applications.
3M Commercial Solutions also announces 3M MCS Warranty eligibility for the EFI H1625 LED Wide Format Inkjet Printer with co-branded EFI H1625 3M UV Ink. The 3M warranty coverage is a premier offering for the recently launched EFI H1625 LED Wide Format Hybrid Printer and assures end users that their images will perform as expected for the life of the graphic.
