The International Sign Association and The Wrap Institute have teamed up for The Wrap Experience, an event that brings together the wrap and restyling communities for competition, instruction and fun. The Wrap Experience will take place during ISA International Sign Expo™ 2020 in Orlando, Florida.
ISA International Sign Expo 2020 will be April 2-4, with pre-conference education on April 1, at the Orange County Convention Center. Wrap professionals will join sign, graphics and visual communications professionals for education, networking and an exhibit hall that showcases the breadth of the industry.
“Vehicle wraps and graphics create a natural crossover between automotive restylers and the sign and graphics industry,” said Craig Campbell, ISA’s director of business development. “The Wrap Experience provides a natural tie-in between end users, suppliers, distributors and wholesalers of both industries.”
The Wrap Experience will feature a Wrap N’ Learn Stage with expert speakers and 10,000 square feet of dedicated floor space where wrap professionals can explore the latest products. Exhibiting vendors include 3M Commercial Graphics, ALLTAK, Economy Sign Supply, Gans Ink & Supply Co, General Formulations, Hexis, KPMF, Luxe Auto Concepts, National Installations LLC, ORAFOL Americas, POD Fusion Manufacturing LLC, TeckWrap Inc., We Print Wraps, xix3D and Yellotools Inc.
The Wrap Experience also includes the Never Stop Learning Wrap Contest, which features top trainers from 3M, Avery Dennison, ORAFOL and Arlon, all under the eye of the wrap industry’s leading wrap educator, Justin Pate. Participants receive hands-on instruction focused on material selection and proper techniques. Winning groups receive prizes while all participants will receive tools for entering.
Those looking for more information on running a wrap business can participate in a day-long pre-conference workshop led by Pate and John Duever of Vinyl Images and Design on April 1. During the Business Boot Camp for Wrap Professionals by Avery Dennison, attendees receive comprehensive solutions combined with detailed analysis of the key aspects in a wrap shop, from ownership to sales, marketing to upselling, and more.
The Wrap Experience at ISA International Sign Expo 2020 is just one element of a multi-pronged relationship between ISA and The Wrap Institute. The effort provides ongoing programs that further the expertise of wrap professionals and build a bridge between the sign, graphics and visual communications industry and automotive restylers. The year-round partnership will feature online learning with a digital badge, research and advocacy.
