As retailers, restaurants, and businesses across America and the world begin their plans to safely re-open amidst continuing concerns regarding COVID-19, the use of floor graphics to assist with social distancing requirements has skyrocketed.
This surge in demand has resulted in renewed interest in Polymeric’s ShurFoot ™ screen-printable coating to provide a non-slip/non-skid topcoat for floor graphics. ShurFoot ™ has passed the UL 410 Standard for Slip Resistance of Floor Surface Materials.
The use of ShurFoot ™ eliminates the need for expensive and difficult to source film laminates, resulting in the ability to turn time-sensitive COVID-19 related projects within tight timeframes, which is of the utmost importance during these unprecedented times.
“ShurFoot has been part of Polymeric’s coatings product for several years. Its unique formulation allows it to provide a durable, slip-resistant finish that does not diminish the aesthetics of the floor graphic,” states Terry Amerine, VP-Sales & Marketing of Polymeric. “More importantly, it provides a lower cost alternative to expensive and difficult to source film laminates.”
