In keeping with its commitment to efficient, operator-friendly, and cost-effective print finishing, Graphic Finishing Partners LLC (Gfp) has introduced its most advanced production laminator yet: the Gfp 663TH Production Top Heat Laminator with “Smart Finishing Technology”.
The key to the performance of the 663TH is its digital micro-processing system. All machine functions are controlled, maximized and monitored by a Touchscreen Microcontroller that is accessed through a 10” LED Display. This reduces errors, maintains production quality and enhances productivity and repeatability. Operators especially appreciate the user-friendly full color display.
Colorful graphic screens display machine status, operating parameters, fine-tuning adjustments and calibrations. They also provide alerts to excessive film tension in time to correct it. And to build operator proficiency and confidence, machine tutorials can also be viewed on the screen.
Other labor-saving features include 1) electric servo motor for roller gap positioning, and roller pressure, 2) motorized integrated rear rewind for uninterrupted roll-to-roll production, 3) three swing-out film shafts for faster set-ups, 4) inline rotary slitters, and 5) built-in roll label printer for labeling partial film rolls.
