In today’s society, where time literally means money, efficient production processes are crucial. Automation is the magic word here. This guiding principle was also the driving force behind the development of the new Twin Table System with permanent vacuum from eurolaser. This innovative solution was developed to fulfil special requirements in the processing of adhesive films, but also for other applications, and sets new standards in terms of efficiency and precision.
Optimum precision due to permanent vacuum
The Twin Table System with permanent vacuum enables a considerable increase in the utilisation and profitability of the eurolaser systems. The permanent vacuum under the material ensures optimum cutting results and maximum precision. It also guarantees that the material remains fixed during downstream process steps, for example when applying a carrier material to the adhesive material. Furthermore, the system offers permanent extraction of cutting emissions and prevents the build-up of dirt on the material, ensuring clean surfaces.
The movable material carriers enable continuous loading and unloading during the machining process and increase the accessibility of the already machined workpieces during removal. While on one material carrier material is being cut, the other side can already be reloaded. Thanks to the open system, robot loading is also possible in 24/7 operation. An automatic table change after laser cutting is also integrated. The two material carriers can be used individually or coupled, which enables the processing of large-surface materials.
Efficient and flexible
The principle is simple: the material carriers are changed within a few seconds, the laser process can continue without downtime and the investment in the new system pays for itself within a very short time.
The Twin Table System is available in various versions, including manual, semi-manual and fully automatic for seamless integration into different manufacturing processes. It can be used in conjunction with the eurolaser base system, XL-1600. The new system is now being demonstrated live at the eurolaser application centre in Lüneburg.
