Mactac Distributor Products has expanded its industry-leading PERMACOLOR overlaminating and mounting films with the launch of PERMACOLOR FloorGrip, a highly durable overlaminating film for floor graphic applications.
Designed to offer excellent protection of printed graphic images, the new PERMACOLOR FloorGrip (PF6600) is a heavily textured laminate that offers superior pedestrian traction and exceptional durability. For example, when paired with Mactac’s IMAGin StreetRap short-term promotional graphic film for concrete, asphalt, sidewalks and floors, the rough structure of FloorGrip brings finished images the high slip-resistance required of exterior pedestrian traffic areas.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings, FloorGrip was developed for medium- to long-term indoor or short-term outdoor floor graphic applications.
“From the seamless way it pairs with Mactac media to the exceptional quality and durability of the product itself, the new PERMACOLOR FloorGrip overlaminating film further solidifies Mactac’s position as an industry leader in floor graphic solutions,” said Jason Yard, marketing manager, Mactac Distributor Products. “For years, our PERMACOLOR overlaminating and mounting films have earned a credible reputation for quality, consistency and innovation. FloorGrip is another example of Mactac’s ongoing commitment to manufacture products that our customers need and can depend on.”
FloorGrip is part of Mactac’s family of PERMACOLOR PermaFlex polycarbonate films. Additional features of PERMACOLOR FloorGrip, include:
• 6.0-mil clear matte polycarbonate film
• High-tack adhesive compatible with all digital inkjet and UV inks
• Highly slip-resistant finish that is also designed to help eliminate glare
• Protection from abrasion and moisture and reduced color fade caused by UV light
PERMACOLOR FloorGrip’s distinct characteristics also make it a viable laminating solution for a variety of other graphics applications, such as point-of-purchase and tradeshow displays. With FloorGrip, indoor floor graphics have a lifespan of up to 3 years, and indoor wall graphics, up to 4 years.
