Swiss manufacturer of high-end UV inkjet systems, swissQprint, presented a new high resolution print mode at ISA, Las Vegas. This 1080×1080 dpi mode boasts the finest detail and brilliant color reproduction. It achieves an expanded color gamut and the best results ever created on the swissQprint UV inkjet printers. The viewer is indeed presented with near-photographic quality. The main parameters of this printing mode are: 9 picoliter droplets and a resolution of 1080×1080 dpi, that is 50% more than the previous swissQprint maximum.
Premium applications
The higher resolution is likely to find special favor with digital print and photo service providers as well as art reprographers because it is ideal for fine art reproductions, backlit applications and for droptix, the exclusive 3D effect from swissQprint. High resolution, perceived color intensity and edge sharpness all play crucial roles in these three disciplines, each with prestige character. Those who master them gain competitive advantage. Which is exactly what swissQprint seeks to facilitate for its customers.
