Mactac Distributor Products announces new product enhancements to its popular IMAGin DecoMural wall media – a sought-after innovation in Mactac’s expanding décor product portfolio.
Initially launched in 2015, IMAGin DecoMural (DM032) is an adhesive-backed digital print media solution designed for installation on smooth interior walls. It provides the look of commercial wallpaper or décor wallcoverings – without the need for a messy, water-activated installation.
The product’s newest enhancements include the addition of a more durable facestock, a more robust removable adhesive, and a lay-flat liner ideal for any digital print technology – UV, latex or solvent.
Specifically, IMAGin DecoMural’s new PVC facestock is an 8.0-mil textured film that is scratch-resistant and simulates canvas. The new removable adhesive is based on Mactac’s proven IMAGin ROODLE™ adhesive technology, which is known for edge-to-edge printing, easy installation and exceptional removability. And, the new lay-flat liner is Mactac’s proprietary 90# SuperFlat™ liner, a favorite of nearly every digital inkjet print shop that prints on Mactac materials.

IMAGin DecoMural wall media can be used for short-, medium-, or long-term applications and is designed for full or partial wall murals, point-of-purchase displays and tradeshow graphics. It features outdoor durability up to 3 years, indoor durability up to 5 years, and has a two-year shelf life.
