American Print Consultants (APC), a leading distributor of wide-format printers, supplies, color management, service, textile, and apparel decoration, is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a DTF and dye sublimation event on Wednesday, May 14. This event precedes APC’s annual Spring Fling, which takes place on Thursday, May 15.
The May 14 event will be focused on how to solve production DTF and dye sublimation issues and bottlenecks, featuring production equipment such as the Polyprint Filmjet and DGI Poseidon II APC, which will show how using the right tools, techniques, and skills, such as color management, can alleviate issues in apparel production.
Engineered for high-volume production, the Polyprint Filmjet is the perfect solution for facilities running multiple DTF devices. The Filmjet can print up to 2-328ft rolls per 8-hour shift with little operator intervention. The Filmjet sets a new standard in DTF production printing, offering an all-in-one, fully enclosed system. Engineered and built with production in mind, the Filmjet has advanced features such as constant film tension, vacuum powder recycling, and air knife powder removal, ensuring seamless operation and superior output.
In addition to the Filmjet APC offers full turnkey DTF production and finishing solutions. A Polyprint representative will be on-site to demonstrate how the Filmjet solves many issues plaguing DTF production.
For dye sublimation production, APC will feature the DGI Poseidon II. Built for speed and efficiency, the DGI Poseidon II features 4 or 8 Kyocera printhead options. On display will be the eight-head version with blistering speeds up to 8,180 sq ft/ hr! The printer has a mini-jumbo roll feed system or an optional jumbo roll feed and bulk ink. During the event, APC will show how volume dye sublimation can be mastered by utilizing tools and skills such as the right color management, RIP, transfer paper, and hardware in an effective way.
Rob Almstrom, President, APC-“With our roots firmly in apparel decoration, we wanted a day to show off two of our latest printer releases. We are proud to partner with Polyprint and DGI. We know that the Filmjet and Poseidon II are great devices for our production customers. The units are a solution for facilities with operators who struggle to keep up with multiple smaller units or invest heavily in one expensive device. Both units are priced right so that they won’t break the bank, and customers can have multiple units to keep up with production and operator attention to a minimum. Along with the hardware, color management and paper are so important, and we like to share what we’ve learned to make production easier.”
