Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions today debuted DOL 7460 manufactured with new ADReva (Add-REE-vah) Technology, the newest addition to their sustainability portfolio. The DOL 7460 Digital Overlaminate sets a new standard in graphics protection – offering a sustainable, eco-friendly solution for longer-lasting printed graphics. Engineered with ADReva Technology, DOL 7460 provides superior conformability and excellent durability in a solvent-free, PVC-Free overlaminate.
DOL 7460 is a polyurethane-based, high-gloss film that delivers high performance at an affordable price, providing both quality and value to sign and wrap shops, wide format printers and installers needing a protection solution with an extended 6 year vertical and 3 year horizontal durability. Designed to pair with Avery Dennison MPI 1105 or Avery Dennison MPI 1405 digitally printable films, DOL 7460 performs exceptionally well in hot, dry and UV-intense climates. Common applications include fleet and vehicle graphics, wall murals and indoor and outdoor signage.
“Avery Dennison is unequivocally committed to delivering sustainable, innovative solutions that make a meaningful difference for our customers and the planet,” said Alexandra Wixted, Commercial Innovation Platform Manager for Avery Dennison. “ADReva Technology provides an economical polyurethane option for brand owners and consumers. The new DOL 7460 with ADReva Technology offers a cutting edge solution that’s better for the user and even better for the environment.”
Products manufactured with the new ADReva Technology incorporate a polyurethane-based process that reduces carbon emissions and VOCs. DOL 7460 is just the first of many products to come under the new ADReva Technology product portfolio as the company plans to use this sustainable technology in multiple product segments moving forward.
Wixted continued, ”Bringing ADReva Technology to market aligns with the corporate social responsibility pledge Avery Dennison made five years ago to:
Deliver innovations that advance the circular economy,
Reduce our environmental impact in our operations and supply chain,
Make a positive social impact by enhancing the livelihood of our people and communities.”
