Enfocus, a leader in flexible, affordable automation software for the print industry, and Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems have announced the launched of a new integration bundle on the Enfocus Appstore.
The powerful new Kongsberg Integration Bundle, designed specifically for users of the Kongsberg range of digital cutting machines, integrates seamlessly with Enfocus Switch to streamline and automate many time-consuming production processes. The bundle includes three applications: Kongsberg Prepare, Kongsberg Submit, and Kongsberg Wait – each designed to optimize different stages of the production workflow.
The apps connect with Kongsberg iPC (i-cut Production Console) software to automate tasks such as preparing production files, sending cut jobs, and monitoring production status, ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow from start to finish.
Davy Verstaen, Appstore Manager at Enfocus, stated: “We are thrilled to expand our app ecosystem with the Kongsberg Integration Bundle. This app addresses the critical need for efficiency and precision in automated finishing processes, providing our users with a robust solution that integrates seamlessly into their existing workflows.”
Kongsberg Prepare creates ZIP files containing production-ready PDF and JDF files, along with optional PNG previews, tailored for Kongsberg cutting systems. Kongsberg Submit manages job submission to Kongsberg Hubs, with load balancing capabilities across multiple hubs for optimal production efficiency. Finally, Kongsberg Wait monitors job status until completion, ensuring accurate tracking and seamless workflow continuation. Combined, the three apps can save time and money at every step of the production process.
John Wilson, Product Owner at Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems, added: “The collaboration with Enfocus on this integration highlights our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for our customers. The Kongsberg Integration Bundle is a game-changer for anyone looking to optimize their cutting operations, and we are excited to showcase it at PRINTING United.”
