Observing the international digital printing market for the last couple of years shows that it is crucial to respond quickly to the specific demands of the market with a flexible approach. ErgoSoft will take the advantage of years of its experience in the wide field of various digital printing applications, like e.g. textiles, glass, high pressure laminate, ceramics, wall paper, label printing, tube and cup printing and security applications, to differentiate theirselves from the competition.
“ErgoSoft strengthened its development division and has now a strong team on board with increased know-how of the field and new technologies. Overall the perfect set up to come up with innovative solutions to serve the demanding digital printing business.” explains Anna Tobler, CEO at ErgoSoft AG. “We strive to continue building on our well-known leader position in providing productive, easy to use applications as well as prompt and high-quality customer service based on detailed and specific technical knowhow.”
ErgoSoft is going to present the beta version of Version 15 at Fespa 2016 in Amsterdam in hall 5 booth number P44. Besides to the new and modern appearance, there will be some exciting new features ErgoSoft is looking forward to showing to their visitors:
Version 15 contains a new Gamut Mapping for ColorGPS Profiler which helps to achieve smoother gradients and more colorful results especially in very industry specific color spaces of e.g. textiles, ceramics or high-pressure laminate applications.
The demanded features such as improved user level rights in order to protect certain elements with a password or “printer pools” which simplifies the job sharing between printers for users with several machines of the same type can also be found in the new version. Further the new matrix for stochastic was speeded up, combining high productivity with highest quality while adding up to plus 40% rapidity compared to V14 dithering.
Another requested and long-awaited feature is the Nesting, which is now integrated into the JobComposer and the HotFolder application to benefit from the automated arrangement of multiple images per job.
But the development has not only worked on the new features but also improved old functions and adapted them to the current requirements. Multiple Image Add-Ons can be combined on one image and PostScript based Add-Ons can be used as cutting path. Step & Repeat is now supporting PS and PDF files and is transformed form an import filter to an Image Property.
Another innovation is the new PDF engine, which shows dynamic and color correct previews of PDF files as well as the re-designed Cut Feature.
Besides the technical innovations also the sales model has been adapted to the international market requirements. In addition to the normal licensing model ErgoSoft is going to introduce a subscription based model. ErgoSoft strengthened the product portfolio by taking all the benefits of the three RIP products and combined them into a strong RIP solution addressing all the different applications in the wide range of the market.
The generational change and the imminent release of the new version is the beginning of a new era at ErgoSoft with the main goal to broaden ErgoSoft’s solid foundation with very flexible, modular parts making them easy to use and simple to integrate. This will be the heart of the future developments at ErgoSoft and the orientation of the company.
