Applications and the industries print service providers (PSPs) serve are forever growing and expanding. Graphics and signage are needed by everyone, one example is real estate. Real estate agencies rely on signage to promote residential and commercial sales. In addition to the common “for sale” yard sign, these companies may also require banners for events, architectural graphics for offices, or even vehicle wraps to promote the business.
PSPs of all shapes and sizes cater to real estate agencies. Some specifically target this market segment, specializing in everything a real estate agent may require when it comes to promoting their services from signage to promotional pieces like handouts, flyers, and business cards. Other PSPs may work with real estate agencies in addition to clients from other backgrounds and leverage their signage knowledge to the customer’s advantage. One print provider that does just that is Gold Level Print of Phoenix, AZ.
Setting the Gold Standard
Celebrating two years in business, Gold Level Print’s origins are as a sub-division to parent company Gold Level Media—a marketing agency that originally printed graphics for customers utilizing its design and marketing services. Gold Level Print launched to offer printing services beyond the agency’s existing customers. At the time of its debut, this included the general public located in the greater Phoenix area.
A year into business, Gold Level Print’s success skyrocketed and it expanded into offering its services in other states thanks to an online presence. This influenced hiring additional employees, as the PSP started with four and today has a staff of 15 in its one location in downtown Phoenix.
Gold Level Print offers a range of wide format applications from retractable banner stands, tension fabric displays, and canvas gallery wraps to yard signs, vinyl banners, car magnets, window and wall graphics, and feather flags. This is complemented by smaller-sized projects like business cards, brochures, door hangers, flyers, hangtags, postcards, and circle roll labels.
The variety of options is an attractive selling point for many of its customers from numerous backgrounds, including real estate agencies. Out of all the products Gold Level Print offers, Joshua Cruz, SEO analyst, Gold Level Print, says customers with real estate backgrounds predominately choose yard signs. These include realtors, other real estate personnel, and real estate wholesalers.
“They are usually the most chosen item because yard signs are used by most real estate moguls or even wholesalers to let the public know about the sale of a house or to determine whether to buy a house,” he notes.
According to Cruz, most realtors starting out in the industry almost always require yard signs. The key to meeting their needs includes offering printing in house to be able to ship the signs in the appropriate amount of time—since real estate transactions are time sensitive.
Gold Level Print purchased a UV digital printer last year with the sole purpose of making it easier for its clients to quickly receive shipment of product. “We don’t outsource because it is less trouble and also because we pride ourselves on being in the U.S. with our printing and our location,” explains Cruz.
With its UV digital printer, Gold Level Print offers full-color printing for all of its projects. Larger, well-known real estate companies are focused on color critical branding, and while the PSP usually performs work for real estate ventures of a smaller nature, Cruz says color expectations really depend on the customer’s preference. However, he notes that the company’s signs are “definitely more colorful than other printing companies.”
The PSP offers a number of yard and real estate sign products for interested parties. The first option, 11×17-inch yard signs made out of four millimeter coroplast. UV printed and always double-sided graphics, all of the signs include 30-inch tall H-stakes, so they are ready to install right out of the box.
The second option is 24×18-inch aluminum real estate signs, which consist of two sheets of corrosion-resistant aluminum bonded to a polyethylene core. Double-sided printing is available. The finished sign includes 0.25-inch rounded corners.
A third option is the Real Estate Frame, a 25.25×43-inch frame that holds one double-sided 18×24-inch sign as well as a 6×24-inch rider. The frame works well with coroplast, but other rigid substrate options are available. Black powder coated, the frame is constructed of steel, which offers strength and longevity.
National Cash Offer
Real estate investment firm National Cash Offer of Phoenix, AZ reached out to Gold Level Print for competitively priced yard signs. The company’s goal is to help customers sell homes quickly by offering a competitive cash offer—so it made sense it was looking for quality signage at a desirable price and fast.
Pleased with the first work order, National Cash Offer has become a repeat client that orders more than yard signs from the PSP. Cruz credits the success of the initial transaction to the real estate business’ ability to simply order online as well as stay within their budget range with a small run of signs—something digital printing enables.
“Digital ordering and printing was ideal because it helped the client with their specific needs and they were able to choose their amount or quantity of what they needed,” he adds.
A Go-To PSP
After a successful launch of Gold Level Print two years ago, the company continues to offer existing and new clients quality, digitally printed products. Identifying the need for quick turnaround times and control of the production process in house, it purchased a UV digital printer a year ago and hasn’t looked back.
Its work for real estate agencies showcases its talents, despite only a small portion of its client base having a real estate background. Offering a number of options from coroplast yard signs to aluminum real estate signs, it complements these products with high-profile options like tension fabric frames and wall graphics. Businesses from any industry vertical require a range of signage options and when their go-to PSP can offer them all, well it’s a win-win for both sides.
