Lawson Screen & Digital Products is hosting an Open House on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at their facility in Atlanta, GA. Join them for a Free Class & Demonstrations on screen printing, DTG, and a special session by Clay Barbera, Action Illustrated’s Education Director, on CorelDRAW.
Lawson’s Open House will feature the latest garment decorating techniques to help you print better, work smarter and learn more. This will include information on how to improve screen print and direct-to-garment (DTG) quality, produce better looking shirts, increase production and save money on supplies. Special pricing will be available on equipment and supplies for those in attendance.
The CorelDRAW class is intended to maximize your Graphic abilities in CorelDraw. This 90 minute class will outline many of the Corel tools used to produce quality production graphics for Imprinters. Beginning at an Entry-Level pace, ending with output options and print techniques, this free class will walk through classic art steps in Corel. Drawing tools, Groups, Layers, Print Colors, and Bitmap to Vector Tracing will be covered in depth. As a relaxed class, there will be time for specific questions, and applicable examples as well. Optional Corel add-ons and software specifically designed to make Corel many times easier for those in the Imprint Industry will be demonstrated.

In the afternoon, Lawson and others will be running demonstrations including artwork, screen preparation, manual and automatic screen printing presses, maximizing production on conveyor dryers for plastisol and water-based ink, direct-to-garment print and pre-treat, computer-to-screen (CTS) and vinyl cutting applications.
