After many months of rigorous testing, the new LogoJET H2 branded ink has been officially released. This new ink formulation moves the UV printing industry forward by opening up new applications that were previously unattainable with prior ink technologies, and enhances performance in established applications.
“As golf balls have developed more advanced surfaces, getting great ink adhesion became more difficult — so we decided to build a better ink,” said Susan Cox, LogoJET founder and president. “The process to develop our new and improved line of H2UV curable inks for R-Series Printers took almost a year, but the wait was worth it because this ink changes the printing game.”
Some benefits of H2TM ink include its expanded color gamut and new levels of durability on all substrates, particularly golf balls with advanced coatings that typically present ink adhesion issues. H2 inks also provide increased flexibility, with a bend tolerance of over 270°, making it suitable for many fabrics and other flexible applications. Combined with its enhanced durability on rigid substrates, there’s typically no need to change inks to accommodate different substrates.
Lon Riley, LogoJET vice-president/Chief Operating Officer, says that when the company began to test the new ink across different substrates, they realized they were on to something better.
“Creating a great product for our customers is always our primary objective,” Riley said. “Being able to bring an advancement in ink technology to both our legacy line of Epson-based printers and our continuously developing line of Ricoh-based printers has been well worth the investment. Our clients are thrilled with the results.”
LogoJET H2 inks are available for both Epson and Ricoh print heads and are proudly made in the USA.
