MUTOH America, Inc. today announces the launch of the XpertJet 1681SR Pro, a 64-inch roll-to-roll eco-solvent inkjet printer featuring the newly developed AccuFine HD Pro printhead and an 8-color ink configuration. Replacing the current popular model XpertJet 1682SR-Pro and designed for print professionals demanding exceptional color, increased speed, and improved production efficiency, the XPJ-1681SR-P delivers on all three.
The AccuFine HD Pro printhead features 3,200 nozzles across 8 channels, providing flawless dot placement and production. An advanced flat-type front dryer increases drying capacity by up to 20%, unlocking print speeds to their full potential across a wide range of eco-solvent media. A 66lb smart take-up unit comes standard, automatically synchronizing with print start and stop for uninterrupted long-run production. We made this faster, with less shop costs, and a lower MSRP to meet high demand.

MUTOH MS41 eco-solvent ink delivers vivid, fine-detailed color output with Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, and Orange ink channels extending the gamut beyond standard CMYK. MS41 ink is UL GREENGUARD Gold certified with up to three-year outdoor durability unlaminated. The XPJ-1681SR-P also includes award-winning MUTOH Vertelith RIP Software and a complimentary one-year subscription to SAi Flexi DESIGN MUTOH Edition-a combined value of $1,600.
Standard automation features include Drop Master 2, FeedMaster, Media Tracker, Nozzle Area Select, and the new i-Screen EX System for advanced print quality optimization.
