My Press Needs’ (MPN) affiliated company, My Service Needs, has partnered with Die Cut Machinery, Ltd., in Chester, England, to provide clamshell service throughout the United Kingdom and Scotland.
Die Cut Machinery services, rebuilds, re-sites and provides replacement parts for a wide variety of clamshell presses. The company also sells new and used equipment. Owner Alan Marchant has more than 34 years’ experience servicing and selling clamshells.
“We’re known for our service strength,” said Marchant. In addition to servicing MPN’s Crests, Marchant plans to sell the clamshells. “They are reliable, safe machines,” he said, “and safety is a big concern with our customers.”
MPN President Rob Weidhaas said the partnership gives the company increased service capabilities in Europe. “We formed My Service Needs in 2007 because providing service to our customers is a priority. As we expand worldwide, we’ll be looking at even more ways to grow our service capabilities. And we’re also looking forward to working with Alan to expand sales in the region.”
