At PRINTING United Expo 2026, HP is showcasing its latest innovations from its Graphics Solutions business, spanning intelligent software, AI-powered automation, workflow solutions and new digital print capabilities. Designed to simplify operations and unlock growth, these solutions help print businesses adapt to a changing market and achieve their best work.
The headline launch is HP Large Format’s integrated AI production solution, bringing together cloud and edge intelligence at scale. It pairs new AI capabilities in HP PrintOS Production Hub with the HP Latex R530 AI Printer — the first compact, all-in-one rigid-and-flexible large-format printer powered by both cloud and on-edge AI to extend intelligence across the production journey, from order intake to output, helping print service providers simplify operations, reduce errors and unlock new opportunities with every print.
From Customer Order to Printed Output
HP PrintOS Production Hub, HP’s integrated large-format software for order management, job submission and remote print control, now adds new AI capabilities. AI Order Intake turns a customer email or a file into an order in seconds using natural-language AI, reducing average order creation time by 90%, from a couple of minutes to just a few seconds. AI Upscale fixes low-resolution files in one click, cutting back-and-forth with customers and avoiding delays. Both capabilities are printer-brand agnostic, so any Production Hub user benefits regardless of hardware.
On the shop floor, the HP Latex R530 AI Printer extends that intelligence from cloud to printer. AI Automatic Print Mode Selection chooses the optimal trade-off between quality and throughput, reducing operator guesswork, while more powerful onboard hardware speeds rendering and expands storage. For jobs needing no further processing, Direct Job Submission sends work straight from HP PrintOS Production Hub to print, connecting once-separate stages and reducing manual intervention from order intake to output.
Early users report both the speed and simplicity of the experience. Campano Lab in Italy called the system “very fast and intuitive,” while Sign On Time in Ireland reported “3 to 4 times faster submission,” adding: “If I send the file from here, in a few seconds it’s in the printer.”
Beyond AI, the HP Latex R530 AI Printer helps PSPs expand into higher-margin rigid applications without giving up roll-printing flexibility. Its all-in-one architecture switches seamlessly between rigid and flexible media, and the HP High Control Belt System prints directly on rigid substrates – reducing the material use and waste of traditional Print & Mount workflows while keeping selected fibre-based media recyclable. HP Latex Inks, HP Pixel Control, and HP Latex White Ink technology deliver consistent quality across media and jobs, giving print businesses greater freedom to broaden their application offering.
The gains compound over time: after a year of using HP PrintOS Production Hub, Time2Display in the UK reported “an 80% improvement in order management and customer response times, alongside a 22% reduction in substrate waste, and a 15% increase in operational efficiency.”

The platform is designed to evolve beyond a one-time hardware upgrade, with new cloud- and edge-based AI capabilities rolling out over time to help PSPs build an increasingly connected production workflow. The HP Latex R530 AI Printer will be available from December 1, 2026, with two years of Plus Plan, which includes HP PrintOS Production Hub AI premium features and printer support. AI Automatic Print Mode Selection will be available early 2027 through a firmware upgrade.
