Leading manufacturer, NUtec Digital Ink recently launched their latest UV-curable ink range named Ruby and which is optimized for LED UV lamp curing.
The new Ruby range launches with premium quality, fast curing roll-to-roll UV inks designed for a wide range of flexible applications including self-adhesive media. The inks perform well in a demanding, high speed printing environment with enhanced scuff and chemical resistance.
Ruby’s superior color gamut delivers bright, vivid images with good gloss levels. The UV-curable inks are free from N-vinyl caprolactam (NVC), feature improved stretchability, produce low odor, and comply to the latest regulatory standards.
NUtec Technical & Operations Director, Paul Geldenhuys states: “There are many advantages to choosing UV LED over conventional curing which include, among others, wider substrate choices as UV LED offers a cooler cure, lower energy consumption and reduced heat output.
