In part one of this series, we discussed the staying power of traditional roll-up banner stands. Banner stands hold media by easily rolling it and placing it into a case. They are used at trade shows, events, and in retail settings. Here, we provide a roundup of available traditional roll-up banner stands.
Banner Stands
3DA Display features the London 33.5-inch banner stand in a silver finish at a height of 78.7 inches and a weight of six pounds. The banner stand comes in black or white and can be used indoors and outdoors.
Accenta Display Corporation offers the Piccolo banner stand in anodized gunmetal gray aluminum. The roll-up banner stand weighs five pounds and ranges from 65 to 86 inches in height. Without any graphics, the standard Piccolo is $195 unless purchased in multiple quantities.
Admax Exhibit & Display Co. Ltd. sells the TE-1A-2S Never Fall banner stand. It is available in five sizes. The largest size is a height of 80 inches and the smallest is 63 inches. It is an aluminum stand with two feet for stability and a clip bar for installation. The Never Fall banner stand comes with a two year warranty and an optional stick or slide bar. The company offers PVC or fabric sublimation printing and prices their stands from $15 to $20.
Birttani Display Inc. offers the Signtific De Luxe that includes a magnetic cartridge where graphics are clicked in. The magnetic cartridges feature a magnetic leader clamp that makes graphic installation and replacement easy. The stand is 29 pounds and 94.5 inches tall. At a price point of $90.19, it is available in a silver finish for indoor use.
Bowman Displays suggests the RBS 36 retractable banner stand with a hardware cost of $39. It is approximately 7.5 feet tall and 34 to 36 inches wide, weighing under ten pounds. It features a silver aluminum finish.
Consort Display Group features the Messenger RTR: KAL Premium 3386 for indoor use. It is a silver banner stand at 84 inches tall and 33 inches wide. Weighing 21 pounds, it is $235 or $345 with graphics. The company offers a light accessory for $65.
Drytac suggests the BannerBug roll-up display system for a sleek and modern look, available in widths from nine to 114 inches. The lightest version of the BannerBug is 13 pounds while the heaviest is 38. The BannerBug has a limited lifetime warranty and comes in a silver finish.
Expand International of America offers the Expand QuickScreen 3 for indoor use. The banner stand features a silver finish and offers seven different accent color kits—amber, green, blue, chrome, transparent, and red. Its price point ranges from $450 to $675 with the lightest weight at eight pounds and heaviest 12 pounds.
The Roll Up Classic from Expolinc Americas in silver and black anodized aluminum is for indoor use. It ranges from 8.5 to 16 pounds and widths of 27.5 to 57 inches. Depending on size, Expolinc’s prices begin at $135 and end at $222.
Mark Bric Display’s BannerUp Plus ranges from two to five feet widths, the tallest reaching nearly ten feet tall at around 20 pounds. The banner stands are available in silver and black and are intended for indoor use. The BannerUp Plus products range from $319 to $400.
North America Display Corporation features the Alpine Deluxe banner stand with custom vinyl graphics or dye-sublimation color graphics with a carry bag. The banner stand is constructed of aluminum and is 79 inches tall, 35 inches wide, and ten pounds. According to the company, the banner stand can be set up in 30 seconds for a fast and easy process. It is also capable of being built upon for trade shows using a wall or divider while the media is contained in a self-containing casing.
Orbus Exhibit & Display Group offers three ranges of retractable banner stands—economy, standard, and premium. The economy banner stands include basic design features, essentials, and functionality. The standard range of banner stands features at least a five year warranty, while the premium has a lifetime warranty. Orbus’ Blade Lite offers a maximum weight of 19 pounds and is 83.25 inches tall. The banner stand features an anodized silver base with chrome end caps.
Paradigm Display Solutions provides the Expo retractable stand that weighs eight pounds and has a width of 33.5 inches and a 78-inch height. It is available in a silver finish for indoor use only. For quantities over 11, the Expo retractable stand is $39.
Sign-Zone, Inc. offers the Economy Retractor banner stand at seven pounds and 31.5 inches from one of its three brands, Showdown Displays. It has a five-inch base and a 78.5-inch height after the graphics are installed. Sign-Zone’s banner stand is available in a silver or black finish and is intended for indoor use. With no minimum order quantity, it is $28.20 per unit and comes with a one year warranty.
Tex Visions suggests its Roll Up Plus 31 at 6.8 feet tall and a width of 2.8 feet. The banner stand weighs 12.1 pounds and comes in a silver aluminum base for indoor use. Other models are available in 24 to 79 inches. For outdoor applications, the Roll Up Outdoor double-sided 31-inch model is available, as is a bamboo model for the eco-friendly customer.
