Part 2 of 2
Event tents are a common product used for temporary, outdoor events. Print service providers (PSPs) offer this product either by purchasing the hardware and printing to it, or outsourcing the print and providing the completed bundle to end users.
In part one of this two-part series we discussed a variety of considerations that PSPs should factor into their decision to offer the service, and to what capacity. Here we highlight providers and outsourcing services for event tents.
Expand International
Expand offers the Expand VenueTent with full-color print for $1,118.60, including a wheeled carry bag. A standard solid color canopy could cost as low as $662. Printable areas of tents include canopies, half wall prints, full wall prints, and back walls.
Available accessories and additions for the Expand VenueTent include aluminum pole and two pole clamps; Expand VenueTent pole and foot weight; canvas sand bags for tent leg; snow and soil stakes—set of four in a bag; Omni heavy duty case; Expand VenueTent 15-foot nylon bag with wheels; and water base—set of four in a bag.
Available accessories and additions for the Expand VenueTent Pro include Omni heavy-duty case; Expand VenueTent 20-foot nylon bag with wheels; and Expand VenueTent ground stakes.
The Expand VenueTent is offered in 10×10- and 10×20-foot sizes. The Expand VenueTent Pro is offered in 10×10 feet.
Alexandra Olsen, marketing coordinator, Expand, says Expand VenueTent options are priced competitively and are high-quality solutions. “We also source for very large orders. One recent order included 1,200 10×10-foot tents with a logo on each side on a standard color canopy. These were sold for under $90 each.”
Orbus Exhibit & Display Group
Orbus offers both printed event tent solutions as well as the hardware—the Zoom Popup Tent and Tubular Dome Tent. “The retail price for a ten foot Zoom Popup Tent with a printed canopy ranges from $750 to $900,” shares Natalie Whited, VP of marketing, Orbus.
Everything but the frame and hardware are printable on these products. Orbus offers fully printed canopies, half and full walls for its Zoom line. Full and half wall kits are available to purchase as well as replacement carry bags, additional base weights, and flag accessories.
Orbus currently offers 10×10- and 10×20-foot sizes as those hold the highest demand, according to the company.
“The Zoom line offers the most bang for your buck with complete user-friendly set up and take down, a carrying case ideal for storage and travel, and the ability to imprint and customize to meet a customer’s unique needs perfectly,” adds Whited.
Showdown Displays
Showdown Displays offers a number of variations in its ten-foot tent option. Designed for frequent use, a deluxe model features a stronger, heavier steel frame than that of a standard. Available with a vented canopy, it is ideal for use in breezy weather. The canopy is constructed of durable, weather-resistant 400 denier polyester and can be printed on all four sides in various locations.
There are a number of accessories that can be purchased in addition to the tent. These include a hard case with wheels, water weights for the legs, corner banners, a sail sign mount, and heavy-duty stakes.
Options to add full, half, or quarter walls to the tent via dye-sublimation printing are also available from Showdown Displays.
The deluxe ten-foot tent with a vented canopy and printing in one location starts at $704. Printing in four locations starts at $926 and printing in eight locations starts at $1,222.
Tex Visions
Tex Visions offers Advertising Pop Up Tents. Depending on the tent model and size, the hardware versus hardware and graphic solutions cost varies.
All areas of the tent are printable. A number of add-on accessories, including half walls, carrying cases, weights, lights, flooring, and feather flag attachments are available. Dimensions available include 10×10, 10×15, 10×20, 20×20, 5×5, 8.5×8.5, 13×13, 13×20, and 13×20 feet.
