Sawgrass Technologies, Inc. and J-Teck3 of Italy today announced that they have entered into a new long term license agreement under which J-Teck3, as an authorized Sawgrass licensee, will continue to sell digital inks for sublimation imaging.
Sawgrass is an industry leading developer of breakthrough printing technologies. J-Teck3 is a leading global supplier of high quality specialty products that provide unique printing solutions for the graphic, textile and industrial markets. J-Teck3 has been selling digital sublimation ink as a Sawgrass licensee for more than eight years, together with a few other selected licenses around the world that can guarantee proprietary technology, high quality and ethical standards.
The Sawgrass patent portfolio has expanded considerably in the last decade in depth and breadth. J-Teck3 has evaluated the Sawgrass global patent portfolio and signed a new license agreement, which allows them to continue to legally sell dye sublimation ink for printers having a carriage width greater than 42 inches.
“J-Teck3 is a recognized leader in digital textile and graphics markets on a global basis and decided to continue as a licensee with the broader range of Sawgrass patents,” said Enrico Grasselli, CEO and Founder of J-Teck3. “As a company dedicated to developing new products and technologies, we can appreciate the accomplishments of Sawgrass and their advanced patent portfolio.”
Nathan Hale, CEO of Sawgrass Technologies, said, “We have known the Founders of J-Teck3 since before their company was formed and have great respect for them. We were very pleased when they became an original licensee, and we are gratified they have chosen to remain within the group of global companies protected by the Sawgrass intellectual property portfolio.”
The only Italian companies who are authorized licensees include J-Tech3 and Kiian Digital.
