Mimaki original LUS-120 UV-LED inks deliver superior adhesion and expanded color gamut at a price point that is approximately 50 percent less than LUS-200 inks that carry the 3MTM MCSTM warranty. The LUS-120 UV-LED inks also offer excellent scratch resistance provide up to 170% flexibility making them ideal for foldable and easy to handle banner applications. Additionally the high image quality delivered with the LUS-120 inks yield exceptional results on PVC for high value applications such as POP and backlit displays. Other potential applications include event promotions, transit advertising, window clings, or vehicle and fleet graphics where durability is required but a media performance guarantee is not necessary.
In addition to lower running costs, the LUS-120 UV-LED inks work across several Mimaki platforms including the UJV500 roll-based printer, the UJF-7151plus benchtop flatbed printer, and the SIJ-320UV shops with any combination of these models can simplify their supplies inventory management by reducing the number ink sets required.
LUS-120 UV-LED inks are currently available in CMYK for the SIJ-320UV printer, a grand format, roll-based model available in select countries. They will be supported in CMYK plus White (all one liter bottles) for the UJV500-160 in November 2015 and the UJF-7151plus printers starting in 2016.
