MTEX CEO Eloi Ferreira today announced the incorporation of MTEX America, which came into effect on the 12th of March 2015 and will be headed up by digital textile industry veteran Clem Sison PE (Ch.E.).
MTEX America’s facilities will be strategically positioned in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Tri-State area, which is in close proximity to the largest textile and fabric district in North America, emulating the already successful strategic placement of facilities around the globe including their headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Porto, Portugal and Leicestershire in the UK. By placing themselves in the heart of the textile region, MTEX America will capitalize on the skills and knowledge of the region, servicing the various markets including garment, apparel, soft signage, home furnishings, automotive, and more.
COO and industry veteran Clem Sison PE (Ch.E.) will head up MTEX America and he comments, “I am pleased and feel privileged to be among the growing MTEX family worldwide. MTEX America is a strategic expansion in a major textile market, and I am excited and looking forward to the challenge. Although it is early days, we are moving quickly and carefully in weaving together the MTEX America business infrastructure. MTEX America will shortly announce the address of their US showroom, training & demonstration facility and visitors to the ISA show will be able to see some of the MTEX digital direct-to-textile print solutions for the very first time on their stand number 100 at ISA Vegas on the 8th – 11th of April.
